In 2013, God whispered a dream that became Bella Eden — a garden of grace in the heart of Austin, co-founded by Chris and his wife, Crystaline. They envisioned a place where people could breathe again. A place where the gospel is light instead of heavy, rest instead of striving, and joy instead of religious pressure.

Bella Eden means beautiful pleasure, God’s garden, new creation — a reminder that because of Jesus’ finished work, we walk with God again in the cool of the day. No sweat. No trying to earn what’s already been given. Just love, peace, and the quiet confidence that “it is finished” really is enough.

Chris lives and leads from that place of rest. A husband, father, artist, and regular human, he finds God in the everyday — in the strum of a guitar, the peace of a shared meal, the laughter of his kids, or even the rhythm of washing dishes. He believes the gospel is not a fast but a feast: a table overflowing with goodness, grace, and honey for the soul.

A bi-vocational pastor, Chris works with his hands and leads by example, showing that the sacred isn’t separate from the ordinary — it’s woven through all of it. His heart is to help people encounter the simple gospel, fall in love with the scriptures, and discover the beauty of a life rooted in grace. He carries a passion for defending the simplicity of the good news — not adding to it, not watering it down, but holding it out plainly so people can rest, breathe, and believe again.

For Chris, the miracle of the gospel is that it turns Tuesday mornings into holy ground, and ordinary lives into songs of heaven on earth.

Crystaline Lopez is an Austin native — a singer, songwriter, and worship leader whose heart beats for creativity, connection, and the presence of God. With a voice that carries both strength and tenderness, she leads others into worship that feels less like a performance and more like an encounter — a sacred moment where hearts open and heaven draws near.

Known for her genuine love for people, Crystaline lives what she believes — that relationships matter far more than building a brand or chasing a platform. Her life and ministry flow from a deep desire to see people truly known, loved, and transformed by the goodness of God.

Alongside her husband, Chris, she co-founded Bella Eden, a 501(c)(3) church community rooted in love, authenticity, and the belief that life with Jesus is meant to be beautifully lived. Together, they also run a creative consulting business that helps others bring their visions to life from a place of faith, integrity, and purpose.

 

A true Austin soul, Crystaline finds inspiration in people, music, art, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments.
