Learn to calm and quiet your soul. We weren't made to carry burdens and worries. Jesus said "Do not worry about your life." Paul the Apostle by the Spirit of Christ said "Do not be anxious about anything."
Worry tries to choke out the fruitfulness of the Word of God in your heart and life. Don't let it. Don't let your heart be troubled. Let the Word of God in your heart grow and produce an abundant harvest. The kingdom of God blesses and effects every sphere of your life, so do not worry about your needs. What can you accomplish by worrying? In your best worry moments you can't even worry yourself an inch taller. If you can't accomplish this simple thing by worrying, why worry at all? Worry is not productive.
4 Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. - Philippians 4:4-7
Delight again and again and again and again in The Lord. Delight continuously in Him. Jesus is delightful. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Let your carefree attitude be evident and on display for all to see. This gentle spirit you carry is a light that shines that the Lord is here, is near, not far away. Our Father in heaven is close to us, causing the flowers to grow, feeding the birds, and has the hair on our head numbered.
Pray and let your needs known to the God, your Father, near at your right hand.
Let the Peace of God - garrison your heart.
This is peace and increase. This is the kingdom of God. This is the peace and increase of God's kingdom that will see no end.
